When Aker Solutions wanted to show how they envision the future, they asked us for help. We did a lot of work to prepare for the shoot, to keep control over camera angles, lenses and timing.
We used a Fuji XT3 with a Ronin stabilizer to capture the actor and tracked the footage in After Effects. Some of the shots were also hand-tracked. After keying the background, we cut the video to the desired length and started animating.
We created 3D content in 3ds Max and added infographics in After Effects, using the same camera position data.
After final compositing and editing, sound was designed and added to give the digital elements emphasis and attention.
